How to replace an SKF timing belt and water pump

In this video we replace the timing belt, starting from the perspective of the belt and not of the car to which it must be replaced. In fact, it is a SKF model belt with its water pump - in fact, it is a component that is always advisable to change when changing the belt. This belt is mounted on a large number of Fiat, Lancia and Ford vehicles. Obviously we see the engine as if we were working on the bench, so we will have to remove the protective cover, loosen the tensioner and remove the upper engine cover, then put the stops on the camshaft, and after placing the stops in the various points indicated by the video, we can remove the belt. Now we remove the water pump, clean the surrounding area and apply a layer of gasket around the pump surface. Let's install it and put the tensioner back in place, then the belt, paying attention to the direction of rotation, remove the stops, tighten to the correct torque, put back the stops, install the pulley, the protective cover and the service belt.
