First, remove and dismantle the timing belt, and to access it, you will need to remove the covers, the engine mount, the front right wheel, and loosen the tensioner. Once the belt is removed, locate the pulley that drives the water pump and unscrew the bolts securing the pump to the block to extract it for replacement.
