Water Pump Replacement on the Yamaha X Max 250

If you need to replace the water pump on this scooter model, follow the steps outlined below for this operation. First, remove the lower left side cover. Then, open the seat and locate the water pump. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the hose clamp on the coolant pipe to remove it. Next, use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws of the pump and the electrical connector. At this point, you can remove the pump cover and replace it with the new one, then reassemble all components in reverse order.
