By inserting the tester into the connector, if the light turns on, we see that the circuit is intact as far as the positive part is concerned. We also test the ground part.

We also check the switch, leaving the test light inserted in one of the connectors, and turning on and off the fog light operating button. If it does not turn on, this means that there is a broken wire between the connector and the switch.

If it does turn on, the problem is between the connector and the lamp, so the lamp must be replaced.
