If you have changed the battery in your remote but it still doesn't work, you need to reopen it and check the plastic terminals that hold the battery, as they can bend and block the electrical contact. Get a very small flat screwdriver and a pair of tweezers. Inside the battery compartment, you will see two plastic tabs that should hold the battery in place. When inserting the battery, sometimes these tabs can bend downwards, covering the metal contacts on the circuit board. You need to lift these two plastic tabs so that the battery can slide underneath and make perfect contact. Also, check that the battery is the correct type and that it has been inserted with the correct polarity; ensure that the contacts are clean.
