The AdBlue (SCR) system on Euro 6 diesel engines injects a urea solution to reduce NOx emissions. Over time, urea tends to crystallise and form deposits on the injector and in the ducts, causing errors and loss of power.

To prevent and treat this problem, Wurth offers a single-dose additive to be added to the AdBlue tank. The product has a dual function: preventive (it prevents the formation of crystals and deposits) and curative (it helps dissolve existing deposits, if they are not too severe).

The dosage is one bottle for each AdBlue refill, and each bottle treats up to 12 litres of liquid. It can be used on cars, vans, campers, and any vehicle with an SCR system.

It is recommended to use high-quality AdBlue and to add the additive with each top-up. If the deposits are already very advanced (blocked injector, solid crystals), the additive alone may not be sufficient: in that case, manual cleaning or injector replacement is required.
