Remove the Car Gear Knob

Replace the gear knob of the car. Remove it if damaged or if you want to replace it with another. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame, unlock the metal clip, grasp the knob and twist it left and right until it comes off the gear stick (removal for one type of knob). Unscrew the knob and remove it at the end of the thread (for another type of knob). Fit the new leather gaiter with the locking clips (if removed). Fit the new knob and insert it onto the stick in the centre console and screw it in.
