Change the Gear Knob and Gaiter

Remove the leather gaiter frame using a plastic trim tool: detach the protective plastic above the centre console. Take the gear knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the gear stick. Compare the removed parts from above the centre console with the new parts to be fitted. Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips, then take the new gear knob and push it onto the stick on the centre console until it is secure. Test the movement of the stick on the centre console to ensure the gear knob is correctly fitted.
