Disassembly of Car Radio for Repair

Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork, pry at the sides and top of the panel to release the plastic clips and remove it. To take out the car radio from the console, insert the appropriate tools into the side slots of the radio to disengage the retaining springs. At this point, slide the car radio out of the compartment, carefully disconnecting the connectors. Unscrew the screws from the radio panel to completely remove the radio from its housing. Gently lift the radio to allow for the disconnection of the connectors at the back. Install the new car radio by reversing the previous steps.
