The procedure for removing the fuel pump from a Daewoo Kalos is as follows. First, fold down the rear seats and remove the floor cover. You will find a quick release on the right side of the seat, which you can use to further fold the seats down. This will make the pump's position clearly visible. Remove the plastic cover using a simple screwdriver as it is held in place by pressure. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the fuel hose connections as shown in the video, using a screwdriver for assistance. Using a screwdriver and a hammer, tap on the edge of the ring that holds the pump in place to loosen it. At this point, you can remove the old pump to be replaced. To reassemble, follow the steps in reverse. A replacement pump can be found online for around £200.
