What is ECU remapping? It is the modification of the software of our ECU, done to gain more power, to personalise the vehicle's behaviour, or when replacing important components, such as the turbocharger, for which we need to adapt the software to the new component.

The ECU is the brain of the car, receiving inputs from sensors and operating actions through actuators.

By changing the mapping, we are simply altering how the ECU performs actions based on the same received signals. It goes without saying that remapping the ECU is a delicate operation and should be carried out by experienced and effective companies; a poorly executed modification can lead to serious issues.
