What is ECU remapping? It is the modification of the software of our ECU, done to gain more power, to personalise the vehicle's behaviour, or when replacing important components, such as the turbocharger, for which we need to adapt the software to the new component. The ECU is the brain of the car, receiving inputs from sensors and operating actions through actuators. By changing the mapping, we are simply altering how the ECU performs actions based on the same received signals. It goes without saying that remapping the ECU is a delicate operation and should be carried out by experienced and effective companies; a poorly executed modification can lead to serious issues.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
