How to Program a Second Remote for Your Car

If you need to duplicate the ignition key remote for your vehicle, you can find the instructions in this description. To program a second key, you must use a PC and the VCDS software. Insert the key into the ignition and within the program, find the "Remote Control" menu, then clear all memory positions. Select the type of control unit and reset all keys. Then select the key and save the settings. Remove the key from the ignition and insert the other one, repeating the same procedure.
