How to Disable an Immobiliser

This video explains the procedure necessary to deactivate an immobiliser. Using a personal computer, open the IMMO OFF software and select the make and model of the car, then proceed to choose the type of control unit to work on. Once at this point, select the PROGRAM option, along with the corresponding EEPROM model. Now, open the control unit, connect the EEPROM to the PC, and connect it via a serial cable to the component managing the immobiliser. After this, return to the aforementioned software and follow the step-by-step sequence to perform the Reset. The illustrations on the PC will make the operation easier.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
