How to Repair Car Seat Fabric

To repair the seat, use a patch with one side coated in adhesive to prevent the hole from widening. Start by removing the yellow foam by hand to ensure the patch is free from foam and can be attached. Make the patch slightly larger than the hole, cut it, and insert it into the hole with the adhesive side facing the car. Once the patch is in place, press the seat to bring the fabric as close together as possible. Place a cotton cloth over the hole and run an iron over the hole and the cloth, continuously pushing the seat fabric to keep it together. Iron for a few minutes and allow it to cool. Once cooled, the cut will be bonded, and the foam will hide where the patch is attached, finishing the repair.
