When you start to hear a squeaking noise from the belt during deceleration, it is probably time to replace it. To proceed with the replacement, follow these steps: remove the screws securing the plastic cover on the right side and the side skirt. You will then have access to the area where the variator is located; completely remove the variator cover. Next, use a variator locking tool to extract the inner variator cover. Then, remove the pulley plate, and you will have access to the belt, making it possible to replace it.
