First, purchase an aftermarket lever equivalent to the one fitted on your bike, including the cable. Start by removing the brake lever; before doing this, disconnect the cable from the rear brake and then unscrew the brake bolt to extract it. Remove the rubber cap located at the end of the grip, then pull off the rubber grip using compressed air. Loosen the 8 mm nut to remove the old gear shift lever. Now, proceed to install the new gear shift lever by routing the cable to the rear brake and then reassemble everything in reverse order.
