How to regenerate the rubber of the wiper blades. WARNING: this can be done if the rubber wear is medium/low. If it is heavily worn, never compromise on safety and replace the rubber, or even the entire wiper blade if necessary. To carry out this task, you only need some water, a rough sponge, a cloth, and a can of WD-40. Use the WD-40 to clean the plastic by spraying it directly onto the rubber and also onto the cloth for thorough cleaning. Now clean the windscreen of the vehicle with water and the rough sponge, which will remove all the residues left on the glass, also transferred from the rubber when it was dirty. Rinse the glass well and operate the wiper. The job is done.
