An Economical Way to Repair a Really Damaged Old Car Headlining

This method is especially valid if you have a rather old vehicle and do not want to spend a lot of money to reupholster the headlining inside. When the car is around twenty years old, the headlining starts to break and the foam lining begins to fall onto the occupants' heads. You can gently detach the fabric, mask the surrounding areas with tape, and repaint the entire roof with oil-based paint. Two coats will be needed; the paint will hold the foam together and prevent it from crumbling into dust on the driver's head. A simple and economical way to solve the problem.
