In this video tutorial, see how to replace the wheels on a Vespa PX when changing tyres. First, clean the rims with a universal cleaner and a microfiber cloth, finishing with a liquid wax for a protective finish. Next, adjust the tyre pressure using a compressor with a gauge: the front tyre should be at 1.3 bar, the rear at 1.8 bar, and if riding two-up, set to 2.3 bar; the spare tyre should also be at 2.3 bar. Before laying the Vespa down, close the fuel tap to avoid clogging the carburettor. Using a 13mm spanner, remove the wheel cover; also remove the spare wheel. Spray some penetrating fluid on the nuts and loosen them. At this point, remove the wheel and clean the threads with a wire brush. Fit the new wheel and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
