Sanitising the Air Conditioning Ducts

Over the years, the air conditioning ducts in your car accumulate dust, and with the alternation of hot and cold, condensation forms that leads to mould growth. This results in unpleasant odours and unhealthy air circulation. To avoid this, you need to sanitise the ducts that supply air to the cabin. There are aerosol cans available for this purpose: they come in two types, one that generates foam and one that sprays a liquid, both of which have an alcohol base that works effectively. The cans will be supplied with a long tube that you will insert into the air vents; once at the end, spray the product while simultaneously withdrawing the tube back to the vent. Repeat this process for all the dashboard vents and wait a few minutes before starting the car; if you chose the foam can, you will need to wait longer. To complete the job, also replace the cabin air filter by spraying the spray inside the box.
