The P20E8 Error is Not Always Due to the AdBlue Tank

The classic AdBlue error is the infamous P20E8, which all diesel owners have come to know and fear. In many cases, this error indicating low urea pressure points to a problem with the tank, and most mechanics don't even open the bonnet, assuming that's the issue. Advise them to open the bonnet, as they might find some clues; it could be a sealing issue with the system. In the case of the vehicle in the video, the engine is completely sprayed with something that is neither oil nor water or mud: it is urea that has leaked from the system, and thus the ECU rightly flagged the error, but the tank had nothing to do with it: you would have spent a lot of money, and the problem would have remained.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
