How does a lambda sensor work? A 4-wire sensor consists of two elements: the first is the heating element, which is simply a resistor, and the second is the reading element. Two wires are responsible for the sensor's heater, while the other two are for reading the exhaust gases. The heater serves to bring the element that monitors the exhaust fumes up to temperature as quickly as possible. So, if one of these two sensors is faulty, how can you check? The wires responsible for the sensor's resistance are the red and white ones; set the multimeter to continuity to measure the resistance: if it beeps, the resistance is very low. If the sensor does not work, you will have an open circuit. This is the simplest method to check the heater of the lambda sensor.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
