Is there an exhaust fume issue? Here’s how to replace the lambda sensor. Raise your car on a column lift; stop at a comfortable height for working and secure it. Remove the plastic engine cover. Disconnect the power connector from the lambda sensor, and unscrew it using the appropriate spanner or socket. Once the sensor is removed from its housing, compare it with the new part. Install the new sensor using the appropriate spanner, reconnect the power connector. Refit the soundproofing engine cover. Lower the car once finished.
