To reset it, turn off the ignition, turn it back on, wait a few seconds, and then press both buttons on the dashboard, holding them until the light stops flashing and the maintenance key disappears. Now turn off the ignition. Turn it back on, and you will see that the dashboard indicates: 5000, which means that you need to perform the next service within 5,000 miles.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
