The issue could simply be a connector - located under the passenger seat - that has come loose.

To fix the problem, you need to remove the passenger seat and check the connector. If you notice it has some "play", do not hesitate to wrap it with insulating tape to keep it pressed firmly.

This way, it will not come loose, and you can be assured that the light will not come on due to this particular issue.

How to Remove the Toll Tag Holder from the Car Windscreen
