In this video, you will learn something very important when considering the purchase of a used vehicle: how to tell if the airbags have already deployed in this vehicle. These are naturally located in the steering wheel and dashboard. They may also be in the front and rear pillars. Especially for these last two areas, the effects of deployment can be noticed, as the rigid part of the vehicle's headlining remains in place while the upholstery detaches, and no matter how well it is done, it will be somewhat visible that it has been re-glued. The steering wheel can also give us some clues; if the steering wheel is a bit worn around the edges and looks new on the inside, it indicates that the vehicle has been in an accident with airbag deployment (and thus has likely experienced a rather serious incident).
