How to Change Power Steering Oil

In this video, you will see how to change the power steering oil. This example uses a small Hyundai, but the system is essentially valid for all types of vehicles. Locate the reservoir with the fluid and use a syringe to remove the oil from the reservoir; pour it into a bottle (this will be used for disposal at an authorised centre). Now disconnect the hose from the reservoir and insert it into the neck of the bottle. Start the vehicle's engine and turn the wheels fully to the right and then fully to the left; this helps to empty the chambers. Now add the specific oil to the reservoir and perform a small flush. Pour in the oil until it reaches the maximum level and repeat the operation by turning to the right and left to achieve the optimal level, first with the vehicle off and then with the vehicle running.
