Replace power steering fluid? Here’s how to proceed. Lift the front bonnet of the car, disconnect the power steering fluid return hose using a socket spanner (block the pipe to prevent fluid spillage). Connect a drain hose in place of the disconnected hose. Start the vehicle and allow the fluid to drain into a container. Flush the power steering system with the appropriate fluid. Disconnect the drain hose and fit the oil return hose. Top up the power steering reservoir with new fluid. Finally, test the operation of the steering wheel.
