How to Replace the Power Steering Fluid in My Car?

Replacing the power steering fluid is a standard procedure for all models. To change the power steering fluid in your car, you will need: a jack, a syringe to extract the fluid, a container for draining the old fluid, gloves, and pliers. First, remove the power steering cap and extract the old fluid using a syringe. Next, remove the flexible hoses from the pump and drain the old fluid into the prepared container. At this point, add a small amount of the new fluid into the reservoir. Then pour all the new power steering fluid in. Check the fluid level, which should be between the Min and Max marks on the reservoir. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel left and right to bleed the system.
