Replacing a car battery is not a complex task and can be done independently. The process is similar for almost all modern vehicles, except for electric cars that use different types of batteries. Before removing the battery, ensure you wear gloves. Start by opening the bonnet where the battery is usually located and remove the plastic cover. Next, disconnect the connectors and terminals. Remove the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Once the terminals are removed, disconnect the remaining connectors and then completely take out the battery from its location.
