It might seem silly, but it works very well: you will only need a can of shaving foam spray, and it doesn't even have to be a branded one. Spray it on the stained areas and arm yourself with a stiff-bristled brush; spread it well over the dry seat, so this operation will take some time.

Then rinse using a damp bodywork cloth, and remove the foam thoroughly. Repeat the process if necessary.
