Disassembling the external rearview mirror of the Audi E Tron is very simple to do independently. The first thing to do is to open the door of the desired door and remove the side cover located at the top of the door, once the rigid plastic cover is removed, we can remove the pins that lock the mirror. Once the pins are removed, we can pull the mirror outwards and disconnect the connector. Once the connector is removed, we can completely remove the mirror. Installing a new mirror follows the same procedure as disassembly but in reverse.
