In this video we can see how to improve the reception of the radio antenna of our car or van. To improve the signal, it is very important that the junction between the reception base placed on the roof of the vehicle and the actual antenna is clean: in fact, it is located in a place where it is easy to collect dust and dirt, which certainly limits the signal reception. We will need white vinegar and baking soda, a can of compressed air, cotton swabs and maybe even a vacuum cleaner, some dielectric grease and a cleaner for electrical parts. Let's dissolve the vinegar in baking soda, immerse a cotton swab that will fit the antenna hole, clean well and then clean the antenna screw. Let it dry and then spread it with dielectric grease, remove all particles with compressed air and put the antenna back in place, now measuring the signal with the multimeter, it seems to be at its best now.
