How to Permanently Remove Moisture from Rear Lights

It is frustrating to find rear lights retaining moisture after a period of heavy rain. Therefore, remove the light unit from its housing, disconnect the electrical plug, and take out the bulb inside.

Dry the inside of the light with a dry cloth and then remove any residual moisture with warm air from a hairdryer (but do not make it too hot, or it will deform the plastics). Once it is thoroughly dry, apply a layer of silicone all around the inner frame of the light unit to seal any holes that may have formed.

When opening the sealant tube, make a diagonal cut so that it can exit neatly. Finish carefully and refit the light unit in its place.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
