How the DSG Automatic Gearbox Works on the Volkswagen Touran

In this video, see how the automatic gearbox on the Volkswagen Touran works: in addition to the usual positions Park, Reverse, Neutral, and Drive, there is also a Sport mode, which can be activated when the display shows "D1"; give a quick pull towards you and the vehicle will enter Sport mode, as indicated by the display now showing "S1". Be aware that in this mode, the vehicle will consume a bit more fuel.

If you push the lever to the left, you will enter Manual mode, indicated by the display showing "M1". To change gears, tap the lever up or down depending on whether you want to increase or decrease the gear, or use the +/? buttons located on the right and left sides of the steering wheel.

To return to automatic mode, simply push the lever to the right.
