How does the automatic DSG gearbox work on the Volkswagen Touran?

In this video we see how the automatic transmission of the Volkswagen Touran works: in addition to the usual positions Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive, we also have a Sport mode, which we can obtain when we see on the display that the car is in "D1" then we give a quick tap towards us and the car will enter Sport mode, as we can see from the display now showing "S1". We must be aware that in this mode the car will consume a bit more fuel. If instead we push the lever to the left, then we will enter Manual mode, and we see it on the display showing "M1". To change gears, we can tap the lever, up or down depending on whether we want to increase or decrease, or use the +/- buttons on the right and left side of the steering wheel. To return to automatic mode, simply push the lever to the right.
