How to Remove the Radio from a Volkswagen Golf

How do you remove the radio from your Volkswagen Golf? Follow this guide carefully. Using a plastic or metal trim tool, lever off the plastic trim above the dashboard (disconnect the cable). Remove it from the dashboard and the glove compartment, then unscrew the panel with the air vents using a screwdriver. Remove the trim from the top and bottom of the stereo, and unscrew the securing screws around the radio's perimeter. Finally, extract the radio from its housing, taking care not to damage the wiring. Reassemble the components in reverse order.
