The steps to remove the door panel on a Volkswagen Atlas are simple and quick to perform on your own. To remove the panel, you will need an 8mm wrench and a plastic trim tool. Open the affected door and remove the nut located at the bottom of the panel.

Insert the plastic trim tool and then detach the panel. Disconnect the connector and completely remove the panel.

Reinstallation only requires the use of the wrench; simply reconnect the connector and then attach the panel. Once the nut is tightened, you can close the door.
