How do you remove the central tunnel of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to remove the central tunnel of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to pry with an object to detach the shift lever cover and also the climate control panel: this way you can loosen its screws and completely remove the piece. Then you will need to loosen all the screws that fix the tunnel, located under the rear vents and on the sides of the tunnel itself: this way you will be able to disconnect all the connectors present here. The new tunnel can be inserted so that you can verify that everything works.
