Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket of the VW Golf 6 located?

The Volkswagen Golf 6 has two fuse boxes inside. The first fuse box is located inside the cabin, specifically behind the driver's side glove compartment. The second fuse box is located inside the engine compartment, specifically near the battery. Today we will show you how to access the fuse box located in the engine compartment, to replace the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket. Let's open the front hood and remove the cover of the fuse box. Once the box is open, we will remove, using the appropriate pliers, the fuse number 42, which is yellow and 20 Amps. To complete the replacement, we insert a new fuse of the same number and amperage.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
