In this tutorial we can see how to deactivate the passenger airbag in the Volkswagen Up, an extremely simple and quick operation to be carried out after placing a child seat on the right seat facing the opposite direction to the direction of travel. First of all, remove the key from the ignition cylinder, then open the passenger door and locate the switch on the right side panel. Then insert the key into the switch and move it to the "Off" position to deactivate the airbag. To reactivate it, simply move the selector to the "On" position.
