In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the lock cylinder in the Volkswagen Polo, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the door in question, obviously from the inside if it is broken, then we locate the small plug on the side edge and remove it. We then loosen the bolt accessible from inside the hole using a Torx T20 key, grab the lock cylinder and, pulling it outwards, remove it from the door. Make sure not to unscrew the bolt too much otherwise it could fall inside the door itself.
