Disassembly of the rear bumper of the Volkswagen Passat B8

To remove the rear bumper of the Volkswagen Passat, start by unscrewing the screws found along the inner and lower part of the wheel arch, on both sides. Repeat the operation also in the central lower part, open the tailgate, on the side panels we find a small door in the lining that covers the screw locking the rear lights, after unscrewing it and disconnecting the connector we remove the lights. Unhook the upper edge of the bumper, starting from one side and using a plastic lever if necessary to avoid scratching the painted surfaces. Unhook the connectors and remove the bumper.
