How do you replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to replace the Volkswagen Passat, you need to lift the car with a jack so that you can loosen the bolts that secure the front right wheel: this must be removed along with the corresponding wheel arch in order to access the side of the engine. Here, you will need to unscrew the central nut of the belt tensioner roller, so that the tension of the belt is reduced: in this way, it will be possible to remove the old belt from its seat in order to insert the new one, bringing it back to tension and checking that everything works.
