Let's see how to remove the leather gaiter located under the gear knob on a Volkswagen. In this video, we will show you how to do it: first, use a lever to remove the plastic frame of the gaiter from the tunnel. Then, detach the gear knob with a screwdriver. Remove the knob from the gear stick and take off the leather gaiter from the same stick on the central tunnel. To install, take the gaiter and slide it onto the stick on the central tunnel, then fit the new knob and secure it with the metal clip. Finally, attach the plastic cover to the gear knob.
