How do you adjust the handbrake of the Volkswagen Golf?

To adjust the handbrake of the Volkswagen Golf, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the central tunnel cover: once the screws have been unscrewed, it will be possible to remove this cover, in order to have access to the components positioned underneath. Here it will be possible to locate the bolt connected to the handbrake cable: by loosening this bolt, the handbrake travel will be increased and it will become lighter. Conversely, by tightening the bolt, the handbrake travel will be reduced and it will become harder; at the end of the adjustment, it will be possible to install the central tunnel.
