How do you reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To reset the Climatronic installed on the Volkswagen Golf, you will need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning it: after the instrument panel has been turned on, you can press and hold the A/C button and the one to direct the airflow in front. This way you will notice that the lights on the air conditioning controls will start flashing; as soon as they become steady, you can release the two buttons and you will notice that the Climatronic settings have been reset.
