How to Reset the Climatronic on the Volkswagen Golf

To reset the Climatronic on the Volkswagen Golf, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to activate the display. Once the instrument panel is on, press and hold the AUTO button and the button to direct the airflow to the front. You will notice that the lights on the climate control buttons will start to flash; once they become steady, you can release both buttons and the Climatronic settings will be restored.
