How to replace the window switch panel on the Volkswagen Golf 7

Today we will explain the steps to follow to replace the power window switch of the Volkswagen Golf MK 7 model by yourself. To perform the replacement, we first need to remove the door panel, so we remove the central handle in order to unscrew the screws inside. Using a T30 key, we unscrew the bolts on the bottom and side. We remove the switch panel and disconnect the connector. Using a plastic removal tool, we move the panel from the door in order to detach it. Disconnect the connector to completely remove the panel. Remove the buttons from the power window switch panel so that we can replace it, as in the example video the switch is damaged. Install the new buttons inside the switch panel and proceed with the door assembly by following the reverse process of the one previously described.
