How do you reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Golf?

The Climatronic system on board the Volkswagen Golf can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the key into the corresponding ignition block and turning it: once the instrument panel is activated, you can press and hold the A/C and front air flow direction buttons. In this way, you will notice that the lights on the air conditioning controls will start flashing; as soon as they become steady, you can release the two buttons and you will notice that the Climatronic settings have been reset.
