Let's see how to activate App Connect on a Volkswagen car, whether it's CarPlay or Android Auto. The system connects wirelessly, linking with all our playlists and multimedia content during the journey, and streaming useful information such as real-time traffic data. To connect the phone to our vehicle, we first turn on the ignition and enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, searching for a new device on the infotainment screen of our vehicle. We select the phone, and from the list of devices on our phone, we select the name displayed on the vehicle: we will be asked to confirm the code displayed on both devices, and it's done.
